In the United States there are over 13,000 McDonalds Restaurants, the image above consists of lights which show us exactly whereabouts these McDonalds are. This map of the United States is very shocking and supportive of the dominant ideology of overweight American citizens living the "fast food" life style. The map also shows how that due to Eastern America being heavily populated by McDonald's chains, we can conclude that the east is home to the higher populated area's in America because of it's vastly greater number of McDonald's. In all, this map is quite a disturbing image as it awakens the viewer to how consumerism and even obesity are serious issues across America.
